Maruti Alto K10 price and specification

Maruti Yesterday announced an upgrade to the veteran Alto model in India. Maruti comes with K-series engine that is used in Maruti Estilo and Maruti Wagon R 2010. The new Alto K10 is the powerful version of existing Alto variants in India. The pickup and performance of the old Alto were not up-to the mark, although it does well for its price. Things have changed a lot in these years. Now there are a lot of car models in India and people are ready spend more  for their machine. One of the main reasons why people consider Alto is its mileage. The new Alto K10 maintains its mileage  around 20 kmpl  without affecting it on the performance.

The Alto K10 comes with the KB 1.0 engine that produces 66 bhp, 90NM torque. This engine is so powerful that Alto K10 takes only 13.3 second to reach 100 km.  New Alto provides up-to 20.2 kmpl mileage, there is more space, big tyers, improved interiors, and back side design. New version of the vintage model has  so many changes in its new its component design. Platform of the car is now 125 mm longer to include the K10 engine, new bumper, fog lamp, tachometer, remote boot and fuel lid controller, changed head lamp, new rub rail, head rest, improves seat fabrication,  parcel trays in the back, 13 inch tyers, body color bumper, immobilizer, electronic trip meter, child lock, power windows, central locking, new steering, gear knob, etc. are among other changes.
The first ever Alto model in India was with a 1.1 liter petrol engine that later changed in the 800 cc model to control cost of production. The Maruti Alto K10 appears to be powerful than Wagon R K-series and A-Star, considering its lower weight, 4.6 turning radius and smooth drive.  The new five speed manual gear box with the cable shift in Alto K10 provides better city driving experience. Lack of security features like ABS and Air Bags is a negative factor. However, at this price, Alto K10 is the best car you can get in India.
