Will RFord Presents Special Edition Mustang Cobra Jet
DETROIT-If be honest, from the name alone, this vehicle is actually very terrifying. Because it is a combination of three names synonymous with speed, the Mustang, Cobra, and Jet.
Yup! Ford Racing Mustang Cobra is rumored to be launching jets as a special edition car is only made in limited quantities.
Ford actually has not officially announced the Mustang Cobra Jet 2012, but full details of this car was now available in cyberspace thanks to Ford salesman in Puerto Rico who has published initial specifications on their websites.
The car, it uses that name was inspired by the legendary racing Jet Cobra Jet Drag Racers that debuted in the late 1960s. The car was launched back in 2008 at the SEMA show and the last time revised in this year.
Now Ford Racing car update it with the upgrade by using a 5400 cc V8 engine block made of aluminum which previously was optional. Then a powerful 430 hp engine is mated with 3-speed transmission C4 Auto Race.
In addition, the rear suspension and brakes have also been upgraded, as well as front and rear which have been optimized. For security devices, Cobra jet is also equipped with a roll cage NHRA certified 8.50et.
The plan, Ford will conduct the sale muscle car began in 2011, and there would be only 50 units produced. The car will also get a new design, called Cobra Jet black anodized wheels, and new optional Race red color, Grabber Blue, and White Winner.
Despite the fact that the Cobra Jet is a very strong car, but Ford still must be careful, because he still has strong competition in the market, such as the Chevrolet Camaro coupe, Dodge Challenger, and Nissan 370Z.
