Subaru WRX STI Convertible is all kinds of wrong

There are all kinds of ideas. Good ones, bad ones and ones that just should have happened in the first place. That’s because when someone is motivated to realise their idea, the horror it inflicts on the world is just too scary for words.
Yes, someone has chopped the top off a perfectly good Subaru WRX STI, and these images show the result. As you would probably guess, torsional rigidity is not high on this creator’s agenda.

And why would it need to be? It’s only a lowered, all-wheel-drive, rally-spec road monster – it doesn’t need to be stiff…does it?
Apparently you can own it for the bargain-basement price of just US$89,999. It seems that’s the price for self-respect these days…

If you really, really, really want to buy one (and we suggest you don’t) then wince first and click here.
