A TEENAGE girl gang is accused of a two-hour rampage during which they allegedly slashed a 24-year-old man, went drag racing in his stolen car and then led police on a dangerous pursuit.

The girls - aged 15, 16, 17 and 18 - allegedly began their crime spree while cruising in a gold-coloured Mercedes in Strathfield on Thursday about 9.30pm.

Police will allege the girls pulled up alongside a Toyota Camry and asked its driver Ramnaresh Pepalla for directions.

One of the girls then allegedly slashed his right arm, before Mr Pepalla ran from his car, fearing for his life.

Police will allege the two girls then got into the Camry and sped away toward Homebush Rd, followed closely by the Mercedes.

At 11.25pm, police received reports of two cars drag racing along Artillery Crescent in Seven Hills.

Officers will allege the 15-year-old Northmead girl was driving the Mercedes with the 16-year-old Emu Plains girl behind the wheel of the stolen Camry. Police said neither girl has ever held a licence.

When police arrived, the Mercedes sped away and led police on a short pursuit. The driver then stopped and was arrested.

Police arrested the three other girls at a unit in Artillery Crescent.

All four teenagers were taken to Blacktown Police Station where they were charged with several driving offences.

The eldest of the girls, Jamie Lee Burns, of Toongabbie, turned 18 just three months ago. She did not make a bail application when she appeared before Blacktown Local Court yesterday.

The other three girls appeared in Parramatta Children's Court, where Magistrate Brian Maloney was told the 15-year-old had previously breached her bail conditions 11 times.

The girls were all refused bail and will return to court in April.
